MMS PLUS MOISTURE METERs
This meter is a complete moisture measuring system in one easy to use robust instrument. The hydrometer mode measures relative humidity, ambient temperature, dew point and grains per pound. The pin measure mode determines moisture content of wood and wood moisture equivalent in other building materials. Pinless measure mode uses radio frequency to detect moisture non-invasively.
DRI-EAZ DEHUMIDIFIERS
Dehumidifiers are essential in the drying process. Without dehumidifiers the evaporated moisture would have no place to go except back into the building materials they were just removed from. The moisture is drawn into the front of the machines and removed. The dry air is then reheated and pumped back into the room to collect more moisture for removal.
AIR MOVERS
Air Movers cause rapid evaporation by supplying a constant stream of air over the wet materials for transportation to a dehumidifier for removal of moisture.
EXTRACTION TOOLS
We use professionally weighted extraction tools and equipment to squeeze the excess moisture out of the carpet and pad.
POWERFUL TRUCK MOUNT EQUIPMENT
Only truck mount power can create the vacuum required to lift large volumes of water in a short amount of time.
CUTTING TOOLS
Cutting tools are required to open up vents for wall and ceiling cavities when necessary due to leaks from floors above.
DIGITAL CAMERA
A digital camera can be used to document the before and after results of the flood restoration job. And with the moisture meter we can document the moisture readings of the structure before, during, and after the structural drying process is complete.
